Sometimes the heat in our house just isn't enough in every room. On extra cold days, I put it in the bathroom and warm up the bathroom before I shower. It's really the type of thing you use in an office or bedroom as an additional heat source. This heater works well for me. It also seems much safer than heaters I've had in the past because it is very sturdy and shuts off automatically at a certain temperature. If the bedroom is a little cold and I turn this on and close the door, it warms it up a lot.I think if you are trying to heat a big space - like an open living room for example, it might not be strong enough.
It's small and compact and the price was just right in todays crappy economy. This heater fan does what it's supposed to do, heat a small room or bathroom during the winter cold. A very good buy and I am pleased with my purchase.

It takes a good few minutes before it automatically comes back on. I do like that it does not short out any fuses in my home like my previous heater did. I am not impressed with this heater since it barely heats up the room and then shuts off. I've had it for about 2 years now.
I love our radiator style heaters, but they take a while to heat up. Supplement hell. We actually used the Delonghi, instead of our large, radiator style heaters, especially on cold mornings, because we wanted to heat up our room FAST. Well this winter we had record, mind numbing cold. Other than that, it sure is a nice, warm heater. This deceivingly small heater was as good, if not better than our other space heaters.
We gave four stars instead of five stars only because the settings over the switches are a little hard to read. We had our DeLonghi DFH132 SafeHeat Fan Heater for over two years, but used it sporadically down here in Sunny South Florida. I had to drag my Delonghi out of storage to supplement my other big space heaters. This tiny Delonghi brings almost instant heat.
